my staffy for a while has had a little growth on the skin on his tummy, which the vet sed not to worry about, and lately it has been growing slightly. my mum told me today that he had been rolling around outside or something and his belly and legs have gone all red. i have come home to find it looks really red, looks kinda burnt..as if sunburn? and the little growth has ballooned twice the size. my dad has just cut the grass. do u know wat it is?

This may be a number of things. It may be a sunburn or a burn from the hot cement or it may be an allergy to the freshly cut grass. I would take him to the vet and let them know that it seems to be bugging him (if it is) and that it has changed as it may be something more serious. Somebody may have spread out pesticides on your grass and it is irritating his skin.
Reply:aww... poor little guy. I think that its time to take him to the vet again and let them know that its getting worse.
Reply:it could be an allergic reaction to the grass or a type of fertilizer placed on the grass. dont take my word for it however, get your pet to a vet immediately
Reply:it may be a hurnia get it checked by another vet and the red rash may be allergies to something in the grass
Reply:mabye the thing on his stomach is growth, if it is its just fine, it's like a wart on us. the red is most likey sunburn.
