Can someone from the medical community Email me please!?

I have several questions regarding cancer. Does a cyst or a swollen lymph node mean cancer? Such as does one experience fever, etc. or what symptoms are there? Does everyone who has cancer drop weight suddenly or do they gain weight? Does cancer affect the libido or ability to have children? If there is no mole or growth apparent on the outer skin, but there was a lump or nodule to the touch, that was pliable not hard, is this Melanoma Cancer? When the cancer has spread does the lump, or tumor dissapear or does the skin change in appearance for example sag or dimple or look as there is tissue deplition?

Can someone from the medical community Email me please!?
I answered your other question. Your husband needs to have a doctor lay eyes and hands on him to figure out what his lump is/was. NOBODY on this forum can do what a live MD in person can do.

There are hundreds of different cancers, each with different symptoms and courses. There are also a bunch of things that your husband could have that are NOT malignant.

I sent you an email.

Melanoma usually starts on the skin, but a good friend of mine just lost his wife to melanoma that was first found in her liver. Never found a skin lesion.

Cancers are usually hard. Things that are soft are less likely to be malignant.

Take him to a doctor or clinic.
Reply:cyst or swollen lymph node mean cancer? NO

Usually don't have fever with cancer.

Not everyone who has cancer loses weight. Some don't lose or gain.

Melanoma is a skin cancer. Develops on the outside of the skin.

The skin develops black or brown irregular areas that sometimes scab over but never completely heal.
Reply:I'm a nurse. It's hard for me to comment without viewing it for myself, I will do my best to answer some of your questions. First cancer cells exist in all of our bodies, it's when they get out of whack that they can become fatal. Second a mole only becomes a problem when it starts to change colors or even fall off. People usually have weight loss, but that's with chemotherapy. In addition, a biopsy has to be taken in order to determine which type of cancer it is or if it's cancerous at all. A person can simply have a growth and it's only a piece of tissue in which the doctor removes with no other problems. Seeing the doctor is the very best way to find out without worrying yourself. Relax everything is going to be OK. I have a movie for you to watch, I'm a Christian. I'll pray for you and your family, it can't hurt for you to do the same. There are still people who care in this world, like you. There's nothing wrong with needing questions answered that's what this is for. All the best. Watch this and be blessed. www.mayyoubeblessedmovie.com
