i heard coconut oil does wonders for the face. but i want to get two things clarified before using it:
a)is it okay to use on oily skin
b) will it lead to growth to facial hair( i don't want a hairy face)
Is coconut oil is good for the face?
My mom uses it all the time, she loves it! I personally havn't used it yet because I have acne, but she says it'll help it. I'm just afraid to try anything new before holidays. It makes her skin look great, I'm sure it'd be okay for oily skin. A little goes a LOOONG ways with coconut oil. I'd try it if I were you. :)
Reply:No!! It drys it out! Try Clean %26amp; Clear.. isa a facial scrub to GET RID of oily skin!! ( and it doesnt grow hair either LOL! )
Reply:nooooooo crazy do want pimples
Reply:no it isn't. nbut instead, it'll just make your skin darker.
but i've heard it's good for your hair. it works like a salon hot oil.
Reply:No it won't make your hair grow, otherwise bald men would be slathering it all over their head instead of buying Rogaine for $50 a bottle.
I wouldn't put any oil on your face, especially if you have oily skin. Your face is already producing enough oil on it's own.
Reply:not sure
but a banana skin will make your face smooth
Reply:yea sure i used it once or twice its great but leaves ur skin a bit oily. Just dont use too much. Forget those ppl who say dont do it they dont know its worth man, just try a little of it but try not to get into the sun too much wen u do that- put it on at night. Wont cause ur hair o grow just give u smoother skin, but it may darken ur hair though.
Reply:yeah i heard it's very good for the skin. I already have a jar of organic coconut oil. Get organic coconut oil because well organic is way better. I don't use it on my skin, I take it internally. And I heard it won't cloggg your pores. SO, try it. It'll smooth your skin
Reply:yes it is good for face.. it actually kills the bacteria that causes pimples.. and no, it won't lead to facial hair growth..
try it for a couple of nights and see how it will work for you.
