I was not circumsized as a boy and i want to know if the problem below should be looked into by a doctor?

my problem is, is that my penis when not erect completely dissappears the only thing visible is the flapp of forskin. I am a late puberty starter and i am just noticing the signs now such as oily skin, armpit/facial hair growth. Will puberty fix this problem when my body decides on letting my penis grow or is this a medical condition that should be checked out thanks, i hope this question wasnt as ambiguous,

How many idiots are there on Yahoo Answers?

Getting circumcised decreases sensitivity and pleasure (since the nerves on the head always rub) and makes masturbation more difficult (since the already-lubricated foreskin is removed). Studies have proven that over and over; including new ones.

There's a reason why it's no longer common. The USA is the last advanced nation doing it, and even so, our rates are as low as 14% in some states.
Reply:maybe you should look into cicrumcision...

it will probably make it more visible..
Reply:uhh this is normal for uncircumcized penises..
Reply:your normal alot of new parents to this day just not to have their sun circumcised just keep it clean
Reply:don't worry about it, some guys are just that way, it will get to the right size when you need it to, and believe it or not some women get turned on by watching your stuff grow.
Reply:Are you fat? That might add to this. I'm not really sure, see a doctor, perhaps?
Reply:I have a cirumcised penis. You dont. One that is "cut" like mine does not show the foreskin because it is cut off. You however are not "Cut" and should not worry. It works just as well as mine which is might i add SWIMINGLY! So wait for yourself to grow and/or if it really bothers you go and get it cut. Should only hurt for about a week. Your choice :P
Reply:Answer one of them spam emails where you can extend it 3 inches and let me know how it works! LOL
Reply:I think that the oily skin, hair growth -- those are natural effects of puberty and has nothing to do with your not being circumsized.

It's natural that the foreskin will "hide" your penis when not erect. The foreskin doesn't expand. Only your penis does.

Why not get circumsized anyway? It's more hygenic. Better to look at too.
Reply:I really would suggest giving it more time for you to grow a little more. In time (when you're ready to find a steady sexual partner), the two of you can decide if circumcision is right for you. If talking to a doctor would help how you feel, then by all means, see a doctor. No harm there! I wouldn't suggest being circumcised just yet because when you're older and sexually active, having the foreskin helps add pleasure to the sex!
Reply:that is how an uncircumsized penis looks normally. circumcision is a personal choice...that's something you need to think about. it's wouldn't be a bad idea for sanitary reasons, but that's up to you. puberty will not adjust foreskin size. late puberty onset has nothing to do with foreskin, either. don't worry, it's NORMAL!
Reply:You are fine.......

You just have a little extra protection for Ol' baldy !
Reply:Unless your religion disapproves of it, you need to get circumsized. The older you are the harder it is for you.

Sorry I can't explain the 'size' part fo ryou.
Reply:yeah get circumcised
Reply:Removing your foreskin will not make your penis bigger. Having a big floppy penis is also of no practical benefit.. you need a hard one to make any good use of it for sex, whatever the size. If you are just starting into puberty, then your penis will surely grow in length and breadth soon enough... so you neither need a doctor or a circumcision any more than you need a vasectomy (and you definitely don't need one of those). These are normal concerns for all lads your age.. so talk to your best friend about it.
Reply:You sound like you have buried penis, a condition greatly worsened by circumcision. Don't get cut as that can cause extra problems for a male with that condition.

Even if you don't have that condition circumcision is a totally unnecessary mutilation that removes 15 square inches of erogenous tissue from your genitals for no benefit. All medical organisations in the world now admit that the risks outweigh all possible benefits.
Reply:Your penis will grow, but you should get it circumcised for a whole raft of reasons
Reply:You have recieved a lot of poor answers up to this point, and only a few really good ones.

If you're only starting puberty, I would bet your growth spurt hasn't happened. Time will reveal what you really have to work with. Why not schedule a complete physical with a physician, and mention your concerns when he/she examines that area of your body.

Do not let these people make you think you need to be circumsized because it "looks better" or is "cleaner". We were born with intact penises for a reason, and such drastic alteration is not to be taken lightly - it would be an adult decision, or one made in conjunction with a qualified doctor.
Reply:Foreskin length depends on the person. Some guys have short foreskins that only covers part of their glans (penis head) even when not erect, whereas others have enough foreskin to completely cover the glans during an erection.

When you're not erect, your penis might just tend to "retract" into your body so all that's visible is your foreskin. There's nothing really abnormal about this and it's not really a medical condition. The penis will "try" to move closer to the body in cold weather to stay warm but also if you're overweight, the extra fat will cover part of the penis (hence the reason why a person's penis might appear larger if they lose weight).

Honestly, if you were circumcised, it wouldn't prevent your penis from "going" inside your body - the tip of the glans might be visible and all the remaining shaft skin will kind of bunch around it, looking weird.

If you're a late bloomer and are just starting puberty, then your condition will probably resolve itself as your penis begins to lengthen more and your body converts more fat to muscle (in guys anyway). Then again, if you're overweight or not physically fit, it's not a bad idea to exercise to help things along.
Reply:yes a foreskin is nothing but problems ..you get corn and peanuts stuck under the skin.. and it catches in my teeth... its a must to get that cut off
