What is this bump on my toe?

It's not a bunion cause I just asked what that was an it seems to be something that grows on your big toe. This bump is on my pinky toe it's on the outside of my pinky toe. It makes it very difficult to find shoes because the shoe presses on it. It's kind of like a growth on my toe but like under the skin. It hurts. What could it be?

What is this bump on my toe?
Could it be a corn, they can be quite painful, and I think they can be removed by a chiropodist.
