What is the best product to use to wax legs successfully, without too many attempts?

i brought the Boots 'single use waxing strips' today, but i am having to go over the same patch about four or five times.

I am following the instructions, Have i done it incorrectly: it says to apply to clean dry skin, to talc the skin then to apply in direction of hair growth, warm with hands for 30 secs then pull off quickly.

Please Help!!! Thank you. x x

Go to the salon. Bit more expensive but they'll do a better job. And they'll pamper you a bit too.
Reply:gaffer tape lol.............
Reply:NADS is top stuff.
Reply:veet range is very effective, i swear by it!
Reply:you can get best waxing at parlour only. they are professionals.
Reply:Had the same problem as you and simply gave up: the stuff you can buy in the shops just doesn't work for me, like you I had to do it over and over again only to find out that I missed out another patch or that my skin got so irritated that it looked even worse than before. Waxing in salons worked well, but was quite pricey and it was difficult to get the timing right. (as you have to make an appointment and sometimes it needs to been done urgently). I bought one of those machines in the end, that pull the hair out (and so the effect is the same as waxing). It's just as painful as waxing (but after a couple of times it doesn't hurt so badly anymore), it works on really short hair as well, doesn't ruin my skin and I can do it whenever I need to do it. They are not too expensive anymore, and anyway: wax products or having it done in a salon is not cheap either.....
