I mean come on you guys, this is your language all of the sudden you don't know the difference between prejudice and racism. First of all anyone who knows about racism knows that minorities who are not in power cannot be racist. They can only be prejudice. A Racist is a person who prejudges another according 2 his skin color and also has the power 2 stunt his economic growth because he or she is in a position of economic power. Therefore most minorities can prejudge European Americans all they want, they cannot say "there aren't any positions available" , or "this is the salary I'm offering 2 you take it or leave it" . And it is very plain 2 see that if you are employed in this country in any business or corporation when you get 2 the corporate level look at the color of the skin of the majority of people working there!!! Some European American racists' feel they can be civilized and racist at the same time, but there are those who know that being civilized and racism do not go hand-in-hand. So instead of not being racist they conceal how they truly feel because they don't want the world 2 know how truly uncivilized they really are.
Why do white people not see the difference between prejudice and racism?
USAF1 is a retard here's a question on racism and shes putting down white people well what If I said all black people are uneducated no good members of society would you like that? I think racism starts with people like you USAF1
Reply:You just redefined racism to include the haivng the power to hurt someone. I don't know any source that uses that definition.
And, please, you can't "be prejudice".
Someone can "be prejudiced," but you cannot "be prejudice."
Prejudice is a NOUN. Prejudiced is an adjective
Reply:I think people apply the term racism loosely. Not all of us are privledged to the type of education that would illuminate the academic definition of the word racism.
here is link that also has your definition. But know, most people do not ascribe to this def.

Reply:because of ignorance
Reply:thats a very stereotypical view of white people! You're wrong, anyone can be racist regardless of their colour or status, just like everyone can be prejudiced.By the way you seem to have your wires crossed here mate. Racism is when someone dislikes those of a different colour to themselves and may display this violently, verbally or by body language. Prejudiced is merely disliking someone for n e reason such as body size, sex, sexuality etc. It only becomes discrimination when that person takes action such as violence or agression. Ok lesson's over!!
Reply:Someone who is prejudiced judges others according to their race, gender, creed, ancestry, etc.
Someone who is racist judges another based on their race.
Every racist is prejudiced. Not all prejudiced people are racists.
A minority can most definitely be a racist if he judges another based on skin color. His race (skin color) may not be the same as the majority of the population but that doesn't mean he "cannot" be a racist. Judging ANYONE based on race is racism. If you are the only violet person in the world and you are prejudiced toward blacks for being black, you are a racist. It doesn't matter how many of a particular group there are; what matters is their individual beliefs.
Reply:You put way too much thought in to this, or listen to people with far to much to say with as little content as possible.
Prejudice: Taints ones thoughts and actions toward another, for personally defined reasons.
Racism: Overtly conveys dislike due to specific differences, for no more reason than ones Race.
Reply:I see that you have changed the definition of words to suit your ignorant racist belief. What ever makes you feel better. Nobody with a brain will by into your crap though.
Reply:Because no one is perfect. I'm glad I'm only half white, being full must suck
Reply:Are there any white people in particular to whom you address this question?
Reply:That's with many people, and when one race generalizes, others follow up with their even more ignorant comments. You see the ignorant questions on here don't you?

Reply:Because whites are weak hypocritical people. Look at how they try to blame blacks for slavery and not their own fore parents. Just imagine little black girls ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and up. For hundreds of years the white slavemasters used to go in the back and demand that these children be brought to them for their own sexual purposes. Look at who is being caught for pedophillia today white lawyers, doctors judges politicans etc. the people with most of the welath in this country. Well in slavery times their foreparents were doing the same thing but with little black girls. and they didn't have to suffer any conseqences for it. Hudreds of thousands of little black girls had their litle bodies and minds destroyed by these pedohiles and not only that since they classified blacks as animals they were practicing bestiality. Since the apples never fall far from the tree how do you ever expect them to understand our anger. I don't want to go out and kill white people, but as far as forgiveness, that's gonna take about as much time as my people have been enslaved. i don't trust them becase of how i get treated in the world daily by people that look like them. Let them get a makeover and go into the world as a black person I bet whatever tune they sing would change . so i say f@#k 'em!!!!!! do you and let karma be the decision maker of who's racist and who's not. And if you whites ae so smart how in the world did you let G. Bush run the country. and for you whites who didn't vote for him just imagine how many more uneducated racist white people in power we blacks have to deal with on a daily basis!!!
Reply:Kunte Kinte, I agree with you 100%. Let a white person live one week as a minority and they will finally give understand us. Until then the best we can do is ignore them when they make stupid racist comments.
Reply:Thanks to dictionary.com we have a true and accurate definition of a racist...
