2 symmetric fast growing moles on our dog?

Our boxer has 2 hemispherical growths on her chest and jowl that have been growing at a rate of sometimes about 2 mm per week. The area is smooth, free of hair, symmetrical, and the same colour as the skin in each area. What could it be? Richt now they are about 5-10 mm in diameter. She also had one about 6 months ago that grew quickly then vanished; these other 2 are persistant.

It depends on old the dog is. Dogs get age spots (moles) like humans do. My Shih Tzu has them from getting older (she's 9, and that's something like almost 60 in human years). Best advice is see a vet and be sure.
Reply:Boxers are prone to skin problems. They are also at a high risk for some forms of cancer, which behave in the manner you described. I would suggest calling your vet and having him take a look at the dog. He will be able to give you a definitive diagnosis.
