Help with stretch marks?

I read in an article that 70% of all adolescent girls get stretch marks during puberty due to rapid growth spurts that over-stretch the skin. My question is, do the stretch marks eventually go away on there own? If not, what all-natural, not-store-bought products or recipes are available to help remove them permanantly?

Help with stretch marks?
wow.. that is a high percentage.. I think thats kind of a load of bull.. but hey maybe I don't know what I am talking about... I have stretch marks.. but they are from having a kid... Stretch marks never go away. they do get lighter over the years though... Some people like to use cocoa butter, rub it on them and they eventually go away... ALso you can buy stretch mark cream on the internet but I heard it's a big hoax that it doesn't actually work... So i guess you don't know till you try.

You can also make them lighter with tanning... Thats what I do.... And if some guy doesn't like you because of your stretch marks then he isn't worth your time.. they are beauty marks
Reply:working out can help them go away quickly.
Reply:Stretch marks will lighten and become invisible but they never go away.
Reply:You could cultivate a really horrible hairdo and maybe nobody will notice.
Reply:Palmer's coco butter
Reply:yes they do
Reply:strethching, like touching your toes helps, but u have to do a lot of it which will help in other departments later... but really, lots of lotions or cocoa butter.
Reply:You cant get rid of them, but during time they fade.
Reply:stretch marks will eventually fade out on their own... truth be told, the many expensive products sold in stores are mostly all fraudulent and do not work. Some people do claim that cocoa butter makes them less visible... it's worth a try considering it isn't that expensive, is natural, and it good for your skin.
Reply:umm.. stretch marks :DD :D
Reply:Im not sure if they go away on there own, but you can buy( even though u dont wana buy) cocoa butter mousterizer , they have the kind just for stretch marks, its good for your body too, i would look into going with something like that, instead of wanting a recipe or home made stuff, its cheap anyways.. Im sure your mom will give you the two dollars for it.
Reply:tan them,...lol....

maybe ill dissapear them like make up
Reply:Workout the whole body from the top and bottom do like

stairclimbing and hire a cool and hot guy to get u goin lol'

i had a kid and i have worked alot to keep in shape so I know what ur talkin about...
Reply:sometimes.if they don't ask a doctor what medicine will help.
Reply:well i do think they do go away but the only way i know how to get rid of them is with coco butter

it really works over time

and its not expensive
Reply:Mine went sort of away all though skin creams help with exercise.
Reply:NONE. Sorry but you can use products that help fade them and smooth them out (like mederma scare treatment) but there is no "cure" for the stretch mark. The key is prevention! Keep the skin well moisturized with lotions or coco butter especially in areas that are growing like thighs, breasts, and buttock.
Reply:stretch marks are scars, when you get them, use a type of cream for scars on them, it helps reduce the appearance.. it's best to apply ASAP, like when they're still red

there's this stuff i used called "mederma" it works pretty well to help reduce the appearance. they don't go away completely though. there are more expensive ones that you can get that might work better..

make sure you keep your skin hydrated. cocoa butter is good for hydration, but wont get rid of stretch marks..

also, they come from the inside out, so if you're gunnah get them, you're gunnah get them. It can also be hereditary, so if your mom has them, you could have a better chance of having them too..
Reply:Hi there, i have only heard of using bio-oil but you have to get it from a store. If you don't yet have any stretch marks, and are anticipating getting them you could try using a cream especially for pregnant women to stop them getting stretch marks during pregnancy. It keeps the skin supple i think. I got quite dark stretch marks on my hips when i was a teenager, due to widening of the pelvic bones which is normal. They were dark for a few years and now they are totally clear and just shiney and i can only see them if i stretch my skin with my hand.
Reply:1. Moisturizers and creams. Cocoa butter or anything containing vitamin E is good.

2. Alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate the skin, soften the skin, and improved elasticity.

3. Tretinoin or Retin-A. This compound loosens the keratin in the outer skin layers and helps to exfoliate dead skin cells.

4. Surgery to remove the affected skin. A tummy tuck is one example when surgery removes stretch marks
