Can I grow?

I am an 19 year old male( just turned 19 last week) and I have grown 3/4 of an inch in the past year. However my growth as always kind of been steady, I never really had a huge growth spurt( peak was 2 inches in one year 14-15) At 5'8 1/2 at just 15 my growth pattern told me that I was going to be 5'11, well it never happened( Dad is 6.0 mom 5-4) Both of my grandpas were 6 feet). when I turned 17 I had grown only to a weak 5'9 ( more like (5'8.75). I Thought I was done growing( even though I looked like a 14 year old without any hair on my face) Well when I turned 18 during last summer, all of a sudden my voice started cracking, started growing light facial hair, fine chest hairspimples all over the place and grew .70 of an inch to my current height of 5'9.65 I still have very oily skin and my voice still breaks occasinaly and my facial hair grows very slow. I'm Do you think I going to grow until I am 21-22

Can I grow?
It's possible to continue to grow when you're 19, but not very usual for a 20 or 21 year old. The reason is that your bone structures start to finish maturing around 21. Therefore, there isn't much room for growth. However, there are some exceptions. I know a 19 year old who grew from 6'1" to 6'3". If you want to increase your chances of growing to the 5'10" or 5'11" height, make sure you get the proper nutrition, rest/sleep, and exercise. I suggest you do stretches and aerobic exercises. They relax the limbs and keep them healthy. You can probably gain an inch or maybe even two more inches. Good luck. I was 5'9" at 18 and grew to 5'10.5" by doing what I told you there.

Boy start growing later than girls so girls are done growing about 3 years after their menstral cycle starts whereas guys will grow until like 21, 22, or sometimes 23. All depends on the individual. You will grow more don't worry! Be happy with how you are right now :)

And as I can see you are a late-bloomer, cause your puberty started later. Maybe you will grow for more than 6 years...

the signs of slight hair growin on ur face and the voice changes are signs tht u r maturin hormonally!!

Reply:It's a FACT the the Males continue to grow till they are in the years of 21. You still have time. In the end, don't get yourself all worked up over height. It's just who you are.

You shouldn't expect a huge increase in height, but you are going to continue to grow and get more mature features.





And don't worry about your height. You are right around average height for men.
